ROBERT'S APPROACH

Robert's 1031 exchange and banking pedigree expands way back to the early 2000's when he assisted as Bayview and Nationwide Exchange Services (NES) first endeavored to bring an organized and technology driven 1031 exchange solution to real estate investors nationwide.

At NES, he developed exchange processing alliances for several larger beneficiaries of the then applicable LKE rules which allowed for the exchange of personal property in the form of private jets, railcars, rental car fleets, professional practices and numerous oil and gas applications.

Upon leaving NES following the Congressional elimination of LKE benefits for personal property exchanges, Robert saw the opportunity in the early stages of FinTech banking and Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), recognizing that the future of the industry lay in blending the two to create transparent and compliant client solutions. He was recruited by the new era of digital banking to develop one of the first and best-in-class banking platforms tailored for 1031 exchanges and other specialty fiduciary solutions. His expertise in this niche led him to manage the specialty deposits division at two rapidly growing commercial banks, where he played a pivotal role in introducing innovative online banking solutions designed for firms requiring exceptional transactional efficiency and visibility. As an industry leader, he was able to perfect these solutions, positioning himself as the top banker in the space, with over $1 billion in deposits under management.

When the Tax Cut and Jobs Act created an entirely new genre for niche, alternative, securitized real estate investing, Robert further began a quest to assist with the rollout of tax advantaged investing in the form of Delaware Statutory Trusts and tax deferred exchange oriented REIT variations.

As an investor and strategic advisor to a nascent crowdfunding investment platform, he was introduced to the Fyntex processing technology. Since then, not only is he trying to influence others in the alternative real estate investment category to integrate the Fyntex processing and visibility standard, he decided to join fellow NES alum Tom Bottenberg at Fyntex, as he directs and streamlines our building of strategic relationships in the CRE brokerage, settlement, and institutional genres.
